Statement of Intent/Future Plans!

My high school years of attending Buckingham Charter Magnet High School are

soon coming to an end, and I will be moving on to the next important part of life. Over
the course of these four years, I learned and developed many new skills. After high
school, I plan on going to college in order to pursue a career in computer science.!
!

In order to move on to college, I will have completed twelve years of public

school. Essential skills, such as reading and writing, have been improved during my
years at Buckingham. During my freshman, sophomore, and junior years of high school,
I have received an honors award for having a 3.5 GPA or higher. I feel that putting in
hard work will get enable one to succeed in life.!

During my senior year, I took advantage of getting involved in the community by

volunteering at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. This experience has taught
me the importance of community, and has definitely taught me new skills such as being
able to manage my time. Volunteering and being involved in the community will be
important, especially once I start moving into the real world.!

Growing up, I was always fascinated by computers. This has led me to pursue a

career in the computer science field. Computer science is in high demand, especially in
an age where computers are being utilized more often. I believe that going into the
computer science field will help find me a great job. Attending Buckingham has definitely

influenced my decision to pursue a career in computer science. I look forward to what


the future holds.!

After I graduate from Buckingham Charter Magnet High School, I plan on going

to college to pursue a career related to computer science. My experiences in high


school has prepared me to move on to the next stage of my life. These past four years
have gone by fast, and I am excited to move on to the next part of my life.
