ACTION PLAN FOR MY LONG TERM GOALS

By the end of this year, I would want to graduate high school with an
ATAR of at least 90. Also with the ATAR score, I wish to enrol in
Curtin University to do a Bachelor of Education majoring in Early

travel with a group of close friends to South East Asia as a reward for
completing high school.
WHERE DO I WANT TO BE
NEXT YEAR?

By next year, I would like to be enrolled in Curtin University under

the Department of Education to pursue my education qualifications
into becoming a kindergarten/pre-primary teacher. Also, by next year
I wish to attain my provisional license and a car.

To graduate high school with an ATAR of at least 90, I will need to

be:
Adaptable to make suitable changes to fit to new situations
(entering university with new friends, classes and lectures)
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET
Ambitious to have the desire to do something such as

having the motivation to achieving a high ATAR

Consistent to have a planned out schedule to get me

Also to be able to travel to South East Asia, I will need money for
travel fees, accommodation and shopping allowance. And by
working part time at a caf, I will be able to collect enough money
for my trip.

WHAT CHALLENGES MIGHT

I FACE IN ACHIEVING MY
GOALS?

WHAT CAN HELP ME STAY

FOCUSED?

Challenges that I might face in achieving my goals would be coping

with the workload of doing 6 subjects and work. I have to have
excellent time management skills to be able to juggle my studies
with work and to have a balanced lifestyle.
I will also face the challenge of enrolling in Curtin University if I
dont achieve the acquired ATAR score for my course. I will need to
stay focused to study effectively. I must not be distracted in classes
where they are mostly active, allowing more opportunities for
distraction.
Family and friends they can keep my motivated and give me
moral support to complete my final high school year. By feeling
motivated, I will be able to achieve more than Im capable of.
Planner it will allow me to be organised, prioritising
important and urgent tasks such as studying for a Period Zero or
an in class test. It also helps me plan for future schedules,
allowing time for emergency situations.
Motivational videos videos like self-development ones, will
keep me motivated and focused to study.
Reviewing notes by doing reviewing my notes after class, it
will allow me to be prepared for the next class.

RESOURCES

I would need to keep a logbook to

fill in my driving hours. And after I
have the minimum required driving
hours 25 hours, I can then take
Hazard Perception Test at a licensing
centre. And when I pass the test, I
can get my red P plates and Im able
to driving without supervision
I will need to have a constant study
timetable to revise and review notes
so that I am better prepared for
future classes.
Also, about 2 to 3 weeks before the
exams, everyday, I will study in the
library afterschool as I focus better
without distractions (fridge, food,
bed, laptop)
By showing up to school each day
prepared, I can end some worry
about how class will go. To do so, I
will try to set aside time each night
for homework/assignments. Eg. To
have all homework/assignments
completed by 9 p.m. the night before
they're due
By using stretching equipment such
as resistance bands and rollers to
strengthen muscles and improve
