Now that you have completed Acts I and Il, you are ready to begin your Unit 2 Portfolio. For this assignment, you will have the opportunity to choose your topic and style of writing. However, everything is based on the same idea: PERSUASION! 1. Imagine that you are a friend of both the Montague and Capulet families. You have watched them feud for quite some time and now feel that it must end. Write a letter to Montague or Capulet telling them why the feud must end. 2. Imagine you are Romeo or Juliet and are banned from displaying your love because your love is forbidden. Write a letter (as Romeo or Juliet) to your parents convincing them to allow you to date your true love. BE CREATIVE WITH THIS ASSIGNMENT! Write your letter as if it were a letter. If you would like to add a border or background that goes alone with the play, go for it. If you would like to use one of the Microsoft templates and make up an address, be my guest! Just make sure you focus more on your letter and persuasion than on your letter formatting.
