Modal verbs
o Modals of ability: can, could, be able to
o Modals of advice/necessity/obligation: should, ought to, need/have to, must
Be careful! Must = obligation, BUT:
a) mustnt = prohibition
b) dont have to = theres no need to do it
o Modals of possibility and certainty: must, may, could, might
o Modals + perfect infinitives: can/could/may/might/must/should + have + past part.

Word building: verbs + prepositions


apply for, depend on, laugh at, believe in, dream about, approve of
Word building: indefinite pronouns and adverbs
some/any/no/every- + -body/one/thing/where: anybody, nothing, somewhere

Vocabulary: do vs. make: do your homework, make an effort, do your best

*Revise ALL verb tenses we have studied so you dont confuse them!
