WHAT ARE WE DOING?

REMINDERS:

Reading: We will continue to work in


small groups on fourth grade reading
skills. We will also take our third
district wide Reading Benchmark
this week. Our word study words
are: antics, hideous, dismal, hideous.

Math: We will end our unit on Fractions


as we review all skills related to
fractions. We will also review the metric
system. We will take our test on Friday,
March 20th. Be on the lookout for a study
guide!

Science:

We will start our new unit on


living things! We will focus on classifying
and the difference between vertebrates
and invertebrates.

Please sign and return your


childs Friday Folder by the
beginning of the next week!!
I encourage students to
have it back by Monday so
we can get it stuffed for
the next week!
Please remember to sign
your childs agenda and
READING LOG every night!!
Join us for Patriot Pallooza
on Saturday March 28th! It
will be a fun family event
outside! 11am-2pm

Social Studies:

We will start our


new unit on Westward Expansion! We will
learn about why explorers like Daniel
Boone, Meriwether Lewis and William
Clark explored the west and why settlers
soon followed.
