end homelessness in Chicago (Chicago

Mayor Emanuel extend the plan for another


seven year called Plan 2.0 (Chicago Coalition
for the Homeless. 2014)

Illinois passed a bill allowing minors between


the age of 14 to 18 to be able to give consent
to medical care (Chicago Coalition for the
Homeless. 2014)

Obama administration is seeking to see how many homeless youth


are in NY exactly (Saulny ,2012)

Mayor De Blasio reversed the law where now


homeless families can seek a shelter when
the temperature below freezing ( Ann, 2014)

There are about 2 million youth who are


homeless in the United States (Covenant
House, 2014)
