Girls Generation World Tour in Jakarta

Girls Generation World Tour in Jakarta was the the fifth concert in the series of Girls
Generation World Tour Concert. The concert was held on September 14, 2013 in Mata Elang
International Stadium, North Jakarta. It was Girls Generation first solo concert in Indonesia.
The concert were scheduled to start at 3.00 PM, but the outside of the stadium was already
packed with the fans of Girls Generation since 9.00 AM. They were really enthusiastic to see
their favorite girl group. Finally, the gates to enter the stadium were opened at 3.30 PM, the fans
were divided based on the tickets they have purchased. They must went through security check
before entered the concert arena. The concert arena were packed with more than 10,000 fans of
Girls Generation. They sang Indonesia National Anthem before the concert started. The concert
finally started at 4.00 PM, the concert was opened by the video clip to introduce Girls
Generation to the fans. After that the lights went off, a huge gray balloon filled up with air in the
main stage, which then separated into half to reveal Girls Generation. They performed their first
song in this concert, titled Hoot. At first only the hologram of the girls appeared on the stage.
Finally, the real Girls Generation arose from the middle of the stage and make the crowd went

crazy. Then the girls were performing more three songs, after that they introduced themselves
had a little chat with the crowd. Then they continued their concert with two more songs titled
Say Yes and Dancing Queen before went to the backstage to change their costumes. After that
they returned with songs like Mr. Taxi, T.O.P, and flower power with a flashy green jackets as
their outfit. After that they brought fifteen more songs which divided into four sections. They
performed many of their famous and new songs like Paparazzi, Run Devil Run, Promise, Baby
Baby, Tell Me Your Wish, Gee, and Forever. One of the most notably performance was their
cover of Cant Take My Eyes Off You. After that the fans wanted an encore performance. The
fans were keep calling Girls Generation while they are at the backstage. Finally they performed
three more songs titled Into The New World, Oh!, and Twinkle. The concert finally ended at 6.45
PM. It was such a great night for Girls Generation fans in Indonesia.
