The Captains Club at Woodfield

The Tara Sturgis Memorial Fund invites you to our


3rd Annual Golf Outing on the lush, picturesque
greens of The Captains Club of Woodfield in Grand
Blanc on June 6, 2015. Outing participants will unite
for the worthy cause of helping animals in need by
helping our fund provide support to programs and
organizations that provide general welfare services,
emergency and medical services, or foster and adoption services for animals.

On June 23, 2012, Tara (Tabbert) Sturgis, a beloved wife,


daughter, sister, and friend passed away in a tragic motorcycle
accident. Tara was a compassionate and
dedicated individual that left a lasting
impression on both animals and anyone
that knew her. In an effort to create a
legacy to honor Tara, our mission is to
continue giving back to the community
by granting money each year to nonprofit animal organizations in need.
