QUIK-FREE spotting fluid is specially formulated to release differentially stuck pipe.

Compatible with most common water-based drilling fluids

1. Clean slugging pit with water.

2. For unweighted pills, add QUIK-FREE spotting fluid in slugging pit and mix for 15 minutes.
3. For weighted pills, add 2 bags of GELTONE V viscosifier per 26 bbls of QUIK-FREE spotting fluid, and
then add BAROID weighting material to the desired mud weight.
4. Place the QUIK-FREE spotting fluid pill across the stuck zone, pump 1 bbl/hr (0.16 m/hr).
Notes: After pill is placed allow 4-6 hours to free the pipe. After pipe is free incorporate the pill into the mud
system which can help improve lubricity.

Packaging

QUIK-FREE spotting fluid is packaged in 13 bbl tote tanks and in 55-gal ( 208-l) drums.
