Read the ScootPad e-book of your choice. Make sure its at your good
fit DRA level. Discuss your favorite part with your family!
Do your one ScootPad math practice (more practice, more coins!)
Check The Chocolate Touch reading calendar!
On your March of Dimes form, write down the titles/chapters youve
read. I want everyone to have a medal at the May assembly!

The March of Dimes form and The Chocolate Touch have now replaced the
Lit Packets/Book of the Week. I had so many students and families tell me
how much they loved the Lit Packets that we will most likely revisit them
once the dust of March Is Reading Month has settled. THANK YOU for
the time you spent helping your students complete the page each night. It
allowed for us to have some really good discussion when they read their
work to their group during Guided Reading time. Together, you and I are
really building some strong readers, as Im sure you saw from the latest
copy of your campers DRA I sent home. Great work, team!
Upland Hills Farm: We will be furthering our Science/Social Studies lessons
by taking a trip to the farm! We will explore Needs of Life, Characteristics
of Parent to Young, Producers/Consumers, Transportation, Economics, etc.
Heads up: The trip will cost around $16 or so and will be on Tuesday, May
12th, so plan accordingly. Obviously, more information will come home as
we get closer to the trip.
March is Reading Month! Let me know if youd like to read to us!
