2015 Heroes Banquet

The Frederick E. Turnage Chapter of the American Red Cross proudly announces the 2015 Hero honoree:
Mrs. Helen Laughery
She will be honored at the annual Heroes Banquet, to be held at 5:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 25, 2015 at the Rose Hill Conference Center.
The American Red Cross Hero is:
a. An ordinary individual or group that is doing extraordinary things in our community.
b. An individual or group who demonstrates the 7 fundamental principles of the American Red Cross: Humanity,
Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality.
Past honorees include longtime Mayor Fred Turnage (2008), the 1132nd Military Police Company of the NC National Guard (2009), and
Retiring Fire Chief Keith Harris (2010), US Marshal Scott Parker (2011), Wounded Warriors (2012), Norma Turnage (2013), Reverend
Richard Joyner (2014)..
