Cornell Medical Alumni Association Donates Scholarship

Funds

As founder and medical director of New York Citys Beauty MD


International, Dr. Nassim Tabatabai oversees the health and
wellness companys interactions with domestic and global clients.
Before she began her career, Dr. Nassim Tabatabai earned her
doctor of medicine from the Weill Medical College of Cornell
University, from which she received honors in research. She stays
active with her alma mater and belongs to the Weill Cornell
Medical College Alumni Association (WCMCAA).
Founded in 1904 after the fifth class of medical students
graduated from the college, the WCMCAA became incorporated
in 1933. Currently the organization has a membership of around
5,600 alumni, many of who are renowned physicians and
scientists.
WCMCAA members remain engaged to the university by
volunteering, hosting receptions, voting in officer elections, and
contributing to their class funds. Annual gifts bequeathed to the
class scholarship or loan fund. This tuition assistance helps keep

Cornell students debt below the national average for private


medical schools.
