1. INT. STUDY ROOM. DAY

A smartly dressed, older man is slumped over his office
chair and desk dead. He has been strangled.
2. INT. OFFICE. DAY
A weary COLE stands across the desk to his newly
appointed boss - SPEER. They are both looking at each
other.
SPEER
I want you on this case COLE, its important
3. INT. STAIRWELL. DAY
A Rugged young man is lying face down at the bottom of
a flight of stairs. He has clearly been pushed. COLE
and his Partner GRIER enter the room.
GRIER
We've got to solve this damn case before the media get
a hold of this, a judge and now a MP's son.
4. EXT. ALLEYWAY. DAY
A hooded VIKTOR is fleeing as COLE and GRIER chase him
down. COLE grabs VIKTOR who viscously fights back
before being slammed into a wall and finally subdued.
5. INT. INTERROGATION ROOM. DAY
VIKTOR and COLE sit on different sides of a table,
there is nothing in the room except this single table
placed in the centre of the brightly lit yet windowless
room.
(V.O)
GRIER
This...
(he sighs)
... is a really bad idea ...
COLE slams his fists on the table, standing upwards
while screaming demands at VIKTOR.

6. INT. COLES HOME. NIGHT

COLE having noticed a letter in his mailbox walks over
to collect it, he opens the letter with ease and stares
blankly at its contents as he begins to read it.
(V.O)
GRIER
... At least let me follow you there, make sure it
isn't a trap.

The letter's words have been made up of cutouts of

hundreds of different magazine articles and covers.
COLE focuses on two parts of the letter -- BOMB IN
LONDON -- as well as -- COME ALONE --.
(V.O)
COLE
I have to go alone...
7. EXT. BUS STOP. NIGHT
COLE stands at the bus stop he was told to wait by. He
shivers as the wind blows up against his face.
(V.O)
COLE
... And of course it's a trap
From behind, COLE is hit on the back of the head and
becomes unconscious.
8. INT. BASEMENT. NIGHT
COLE slowly opens his eyes to find that he is tied up
in an old, dirty and cramped basement. Sitting across
from COLE is the small masked ETHAN leaning forward and
visibly staring at COLE with an unwavering resolve. He
slowly stands up and takes an even slower two steps
towards COLE all the while moving his hand out of his
pocket to reveal a small compact revolver pointed
directly at COLE.

Episode 8
1. INT. BASEMENT. NIGHT
ETHAN is crouching just inches in front of COLE, who is
barely conscious. They are both staring at each other.
There is a long pause before either of them speaks.
ETHAN
You have no idea who I am, do you?
COLE tilts his head to the side and shuffles in his
place to try to test the restraints his captor has put
him in.
COLE
Should I? ...
ETHAN
(Sighing and looking down at his feet)
Typical...
(He stands up and takes back before turning on his heel
to face away from COLE)
... I
(He bellows surprisingly loudly)
... Am your ...
(He pauses)
... So called ... psychopath ... Im the one behind all
of these killings ... Ive spent years planning my
legacy...
(He turns to face COLE while slowly taking sidesteps
towards the door on his right)
... and now ... all the pieces have fallen exactly
where I hoped.
