Languages of The World Tree
The many languages of the world are all different yet all similar. They come from
lines and families of similar sounds and developments. They spark new cultures and
also continue old ones. Here we see the language tree of the Indo-European
Languages; all originating from the Proto-Indo-European language they have
changed and diversified to create over 30 languages. From Proto-Indo-European
they break up into 5 lines of descent each breaking into their own smaller families
and then individual languages. Languages are the most common way people
communicate and understanding where they come from helps us understand
different cultures and ideals. It also shows how the diversity causes communication
barriers throughout even neighboring people ergo hindering production and
efficiency of business.
