CHEST XRAY PA AND LAT

History: Current smoker with COPD
PA and lateral views of the chest are obtained.
Findings: The bony structures are intact. There are mild degenerative changes of the spine.
The lungs are hyperlucent. The diaphragmatic leaflets are slightly low. There is no acute infiltrate,
mass or effusion. There is calcification in the left hilum in keeping with prior granulomatous disease.
diaphragms are sharp.
Cardiac size is normal. There is uncoiling of the proximal descending aorta.
There is no hilar or mediastinal adenopathy.
IMPRESSION:
Findings compatible with COPD. No acute disease.
Calcified left hilar node in keeping with prior granulomatous disease.
