Invitation for Sealed Quotation

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, ELECTROMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT (EMD) invites sealed quotations
from registered suppliers for:
Supply and Delivery of 200KVA Distribution Transformer and Accessories at CAAN Head Office
Premises.

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Sealed quotation Forms at the office of Civil
Aviation Authority of Nepal, ELECTROMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT, Babarmahal, Kathmandu,
Nepal. Ph. No. 977-1-4262100, Fax 977-1-4262107.

Sealed Quotation Forms may be purchased by eligible Bidders from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal,
ELECTROMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT, Babarmahal, Kathmandu on the submission of a written
application within 15 days from the date of first publication of this notice and on receipt of cash deposit of a
non-refundable fee of NRs.300.00 in NMB Bank, Babarmahal, current Account No. 00100000931F of Civil
Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) within office hour.

Sealed Quotations must be submitted to the above office on or before 12:00 Noon on 2071/11/11. Documents
received after this deadline shall not be accepted.

5.

Quotations must be valid for a period of 45 days after opening of Sealed quotations and must be accompanied
by Cash Security or Bank Guarantee, amounting to the sum of NRS 25000.00 which shall be valid for 75 days
after opening of the Sealed Quotations. If bidder wishes to submit the Cash Security, the cash should be
deposited in Deposit Account No.1206110-001-003-524-NPR of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal,
Babarmahal, Kathmandu at Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali, Kathmandu and submit the receipt of the deposited
amount of cash along with the Sealed Quotation.

Sealed Quotations shall be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hr
on 2071/11/11 at the office of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, ELECTROMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT,
Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

7.

If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day
shall be considered the last day.

8.

Bidders are advised to visit site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bid.

9.

EMD reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Sealed Quotations without assigning
any reason, whatsoever.
