Waveguide Pressure Window Installation

Contact & Cover/Gasket Flanges
1. Remove the brass flange plate and Mylar window
from the contents of the waveguide pressure window
package and identify all pieces.
2. Apply a thin coating of Gasket Grease P/N 515121 or
equivalent as per MIL-S-8660B to one side of brass
flange plate.
3. Place the Mylar pressure window onto the greased
side of the flange plate.

4. Place the flange plate with pressure window against

the high pressure side of the waveguide. Be sure the
Mylar side of the flange plate is towards the gasket
and waveguide flange.
5. Connect the low pressure side of the waveguide to
the other side of the flange plate and secure the
entire pressure window assembly with associated
connector hardware.
