Question 4. Article Title- Ghana: Digital Dumping Ground

Written or Updated last in 2011. It was very relevant to the topic Ethics that I had chosen because
it looks at the impact it has on the well-being of those in Africa, specifically, Ghana, that are
impacted by 1st worlds electronic waste creation and dumping. It uses relevant sources and
provides evidence making it an authoritative source. It provides factual information on how to
help protect and to reduce harming the environment and people. It is accurate and is supported
with evidence. Where it does not have readily available information, it give information cites that
are accurate and authoritative. It was created to inform, not sell. It also tries to persuade people to
be more conscientious about our waste, and our impact on others.
Question 5. Question 2s article was titled The Re-commerce Boom and it was very easy to
access. It was written very recently and was created using authoritative data and provides an
accurate look on the ethical situation. It was relevant and stayed on topic. Question 1s first
article was titled Old Electronics from America, Europe Fuel Toxic Crisis in Africa and was
harder to access. It took longer to search for it, and the keywords used were more specific and
harder to word properly. The document is also not as up-to-date, as it was created in 2005. It has
fewer resources and the resources are not as authoritative as they are not dated or given much

context. Both sources have slight biases that are present and noticeable, but they are supported
by fact and reliable observations.
