*All four lessons are based on the different senses


and how kids use their senses in their everyday
lives. This lesson will focus on one of the senses
which is touch. During each lessons students will
contribute to their own books on Book creator.
Introduction:
Introduce subject.
Play the five senses song so that kids can
join along.
Discuss the different type of senses.
Show an example of a book created.
Procedure:

Students will use QR reader on iPads to


scan QR code that was set up around the
classroom that contains different pictures
such as cactus, bunny rabbits, feathers, etc.
A sensory table will be set up for the
students with all the different type of
sensory materials such as sand, bouncy
balls, glues, etc. so that students get the
chance to explain how things feel.
They will discuss how these feels with their
peers and teacher.

Lesson Closing:
Class comes back together on the mat and
students are seated in a circle.
Ask students to share what they have
touched and how they feel about it and
share or show around what they have
created in their Book Creator and what they
like the most.
Teacher will explain next lesson okay pre
primarys we will be adding more taste
sense to our book next week so that
students can start to think about what are
the tastes that they have or know.
