A comforting blanket when I suffer A cool wind in a stifling summer Turns out it was You. You who made the startling blue skies, The striking sun, the calming moon and stars. You who gave and sustained our lives And shares, and helps, and loves. You stripped off Your Godly powers And went down to this lowly Earth. You even suffered, was crucified, and died All for us, just common people. In Your knowing eyes, We were always deemed worthy. Your trust in us unwavering, Your love never ending. So now I offer You endless gratitude For all of Your loving deeds. I thank You for Your sacrifice Which was perfect, indeed!
