Introduction:
Review the features of informative text from
previous lesson.
Discuss that we can also describe the
features/characteristics of people. Example
comparing features of people from Australia,
India and Asia. Also do comparison of people
from different lines of work, eg. Teacher and a
firefighter.
Demonstrate describing yourself and have
students describe each other.
Ask students to think about a person that they
would like to describe. It can be family,
celebrity, career person or friend.
Lesson:
Students using Spiderscribe will create a mind
map describing the person that they have
