We have had the pleasure of knowing Sarah Roberts for the last three years in which she was a caretaker
for our children in a formal and informal setting. Sarah worked for two years in the two year old room at
Creative Comer where she was an assistant teacher and lead teacher for one summer. It was here that we
became so impressed with Sarah's ability to relate and work with children. Sarah always had the children
involved in educational activities and her love of children shined through her interactions. Because of
this, she has been our preferred babysitter for the last three years.
In addition to her work with children at Creative Comer and in our home, Sarah has worked with a variety
of age levels at various child related jobs. She worked for a summer at C Lazy U where she cared for
children and taught them horsemanship skills while on vacation. At C Lazy U she earned Employee of
the Month by working with three to five year olds as well as six to twelve year old children. In addition
to caring for our children, Sarah has been a consistent caregiver to many families and spent the last
summer as a full time nanny for two flTStgrade boys where she planned activities and educational outings.
Academically, Sarah is an excellent student who continuously challenges herself. She has maintained a
4.0 GPA at Lindenwood while completing practicums at Ft Zumwalt, St. Charles, Francis Howell, and
Parkway. Sarah has also subbed in St. Charles School District the last year where during one period she
was a long term sub for 3 weeks in an Elementary Special Education classroom.
Through her education and employment, Sarah has made a positive impact on early childhood and
elementary children in many aspects. She has successfully demonstrated her leadership ability in lead
teaching, substitute teaching and practicums. Sarah has gained experience in planning and implementing
a lesson, child development, and daily interactions with children. We are confident that Sarah's positive
attitude and drive to become a better teacher will be an asset to any school district. If you have any
