A panel of expert health professionals addressed important health issues and the
relationship between mind and body in overall wellness on the following topics:

Understanding the powerful connection between psychological and physical


well-being and how to make it work for you
Managing long-term health care needs; being your own best health care
advocate
Using functional fitness, individual anatomy-based movement, to achieve
pain-free living
Preventing, recognizing, and recuperating from depression
The panel of expert health professionals included:

The 2014 Wall Street Run & Heart Walk will bring together over 12,000
participants from more than 150 of the top companies, hospitals, and
professional services firms in New York City.
A fundraising event designed to have companies and their employees raise
and contribute critically needed funds to support the mission to build
healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
My Heart. My Life is the American Heart Associations wellness platform
promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and corporate wellness. It
charges companies and employees to increase productivity and improve their
quality of life most notably by helping people identify and adopt healthier
lifestyle choices.
Participants may choose to run competitively or enjoy a leisurely walk the 3
mile course through the streets of downtown Manhattans famed financial
district
Participants will enjoy free health screenings, nutrition and fitness
demonstrations, heart health information and product sampling.

This annual event, now in its thirteenth year, is the only forum to highlight
the achievements of Asian Americans across the United States.
The awards recipients represent a microcosm of the best of Asian American
business owners, professionals and corporate executives who are engaged in
a wide range of business interests.
The Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award not only recognizes
entrepreneurs for their role in driving the U.S. economy, it also provides
corporations with the opportunity to honor top Asian American executives
within its ranks.
