Introduction:
- Gather students at the front of classroom
- Play the same game as last week but with out the definitions
students have to try and remember
- Teacher to go over interview format (students have and
knowledge of this as they have done in class previously)
- Teacher explains todays activity
Student will be in same groups as last week, and using the
interview format they will create a word document and fill it in
using information from the Poplet brainstorm
- Ask students to break off into groups
Lesson:
- Students will first create a word document with an interview
format making sure they have a introduction, body and conclusion.
- They then will decide who will have which role when filming
- Students will then write there questions that the interviewer will
ask, following the format
- Then the character answers
- Followed by a brief description of where they will film, and how
they will be positioned when filming
- Students can also pick when news reporting format they want to
use on the Ipad in preparation for next lesson.
Conclusion:
- Teacher to call students back to the front of the class and go over
interview format and talk about ANZAC Day reiterating main
points
- Get students excited about filming next lesson
