Ammonia is a toxic gas or liquor that can be a corrosive to tissues upon contact.

Ammonia
can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, ingestion, eye contact, and skin contact (NIOSH,
2013). In this scenario we know that people were cough and asthma cause a ammonia
exposure from the truck who crashed by train. From that symptom, we conclude that the
people have an irritation in their above respiration tract. And we as a doctor want to treat that
people with drug to heal the symptom. First, we need to apply the first aid procedure to save
the people from exposure ammonia. The first thing we must do is bring the people far away
from ammonia exposure, let the people breath with fresh air. If breathing has stopped,
perform artificial respiration. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may
assist the affected person by administering 100% oxygen. Keep the affected person warm and
at rest (NIOSH, 2010). And for treat the sympotoms especially in their above respiration tract
maybe is antitusive for the cough. Because antitusive is a drug for cough
suppresant, especially for cough cause of polutan or irritans (Katzung., et a.l., 2012).
