    Explain your involvement and how you and the community benefited from this service:
    My involvement consisted of helping the teacher organize the students work around the classroom by hanging their work
    on the walls, and updating their High Frequency word wall. I also helped the teacher cut out the laminated standards and
    rainbow words for the students. I believe this benefits me because I am seeing the outside job of a teacher and the help
    that they need not just in the classroom but also after school. Finally, I am seeing the importance of having student work
    on the walls to make sure that they feel proud of their school assignments.

    Explain your involvement and how you and the community benefited from this service:
    Volunteers at Valley Childrens Hospital are always welcome they constantly have me doing something. My duties are
    mainly at the playroom where I get to play with the patients with toys, video games, board games, arts & crafts, and read
    aloud. When the playroom has enough volunteers they will send me out to the patients room to pass out movies or arts
    and crafts that they can do in their rooms. There have also been a few cases where I get called to rock babies to sleep
    because their nurses are too busy to stay and hold the infants. My involvement at the hospital is benefiting me because I
    am getting experience with children in a medical setting. I am also learning about the programs the hospital has to offer for
    the families.
