Manal Zibara has been working as a casual supply teacher at our school. In this capacity she has taught
every grade in our school, from grade 1 to grade 5. She is often called upon at the last minute, and does
anything from one day to a continuous week with a class.
Manal has proved to be a very effective teacher. As a supply teacher, she has to think quickly and
creatively, as there are times when there is no plan or work left for her, and she has to supervise the class
for the whole day. She is adaptable and flexible, especially on days when she has to move between
classes, and may have to teach three or four grades in one day.
I have found Manal to be dependable and a very good teacher. She has a very good rapport with the
students, and manages the class very effectively. She works well with her colleagues, and collaborates
with them for planning and cross grade activities.
I think she would be a very good candidate for a position in a Masters program, and I wish her well in her
studies.
