Overall the scores were improved upon. When counting forward and
backward to at least 20 with and without objects, the overall classroom
improved 20 points. The second objective was to read, write, and represent
whole numbers to at least 20 with and without objects or pictures. Here all of
the students also improved by 20 points, from an overall 70 to an overall 90.
On the final objective the students were to generate a number that is one
more than or one less than another number up to at least 20. In this objective
all students improved from an overall score of slightly under 7o percent to
slightly over 90 percent.

The English as a second language students are doing much better in tests
scores 3 as compared to tests scores 1. Data shows that the students have a
better understanding of the language as they have more comprehension in
the beginning and as a whole are all meeting the minimum requirements and
some are mastering the lesson as are all of the non ESL students. The class
average has improved by 12% from test 1 to test 3.

My concern is that students #4 and #5, although they are making some
progress are not up to par with the other students. They do not have a clear
grasp of the English language therefore are slipping further and further
behind. With some outside tutoring or extra side work #4 and #5 could easily
catch up to the rest of the class in all subjects.
Teachers should pay close attention to the data that is captured on the
classroom. This data provides important information that will aid in the
learning process of the students. It shows clear objectives that need to be
worked on and concentration areas that previously needed work that are now
mastered.
