PACE AWARD WHERE AM I?

Participation:
Awarded to a student who shows exemplary and engaged participation in any one area of
school life. For example, a student may receive this award for showing particular interest in
one aspect of school, spending time at noon or outside of school completing an assigned
project for class or school activity.

Academic Achievement and Growth:


Achievement: Awarded to a student who shows consistently scores a 4 (80% 100%) in all core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, French and
Physical Education) by term 3 reporting.
Growth: Awarded to a student who shows significant growth and development in any subject
area.

My grades werent very good last year and now my grades have been going up a lot this
year.

Citizenship:
Awarded to students who act with respect, responsibility and integrity throughout the school
day and during extra-curricular activities. These students also contribute their interests and
talents, making Parkside a better place for everyone.

I helped and teached everybody when we were doing the Egyptian gods and goddess.
My citizenship group started a club (but we havent done it since December).

Engagement:
Awarded to students who, by term 3 reporting, have consistently demonstrated personal
management skills, active participation in learning and social responsibility.
