implementing culturally congruent nursing care.
Preparation Required Facilitators need to make sure that field trips are objective
by Teacher/Facilitator and driven, and that they will require a considerable amount of

planning in advance. The students schedules will need to be
made out prior with dates, times, and sites that they must visit.
Also, approval of those sites must be in writing by the Director
of Nursing, and the clinical sites directors. Transportation must
also be addressed, code of conduct, clinical uniforms. Several
instructors will need to be available to accompany the students
to these sites.
