Risk Management and Route Setting Manager/Adventure Trip Leader

August 2013 Present (Average of 12 hours/week)
Responsible for:
o Managing route setters to make sure routes go up in a timely fashion and are well constructed
o Training new route setters in safety, effectiveness and technique
o Ensuring that general policies are followed by both staff and participants
o Maintaining safety of climbers
o Leading outdoor trips for James Madison University population
o Instructing participants on how to climb and properly use safety gear
