Fri-Mon-List three specific accidents that people can have in their own home. I feel safe

Tues-Wed- Identify 5 signs you may see when walking, jogging, or riding a bike.

Opening (Hook/ Activating Strategy/Learning Intentions) Mon-Tues Students will write their
answers on the board from warm-up activity.
Wed-Thurs.-Warm-up answers written on the board and discussed.
Fri-Mon students will write their answers on the board.
Current Events
(8-10 minutes)

Work Period (I do, we do, you do) Tues-Wed- Class will discuss the relationship between safety
and positive/negative behaviors, along with the steps of the accident chain. Textbooks used as a
reference guide.
Thurs-Fri-Discussion on safety at home and in school along with a supporting activity to increase
clarity.(Video)
Technology may be used to enhance teaching and learning.
Fri- Class will complete activities from previous class.
