The History Research Paper is a cross-curricular assignment. You will be graded by your English and history teachers, and the final grade will be included in the fourth quarter. While you will be given a great deal of in school support, you will need to work on this at home as well. You should review due dates to avoid late grade penalties. History Component: The topic, thesis, and the validity of your sources will be assessed by the history teacher. A history specific rubric has been provided. English Component: Your English teacher will support you in the following ways: thesis development, writing workshops, draft reviews with feedback, and MLA formatting instruction.
