Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is an rebel group of muslim who controls
territory in Iraq and Syria operating in many parts of the world such as eastern Libya,
Egypt, North Africa, and including South Africa. ISIS was established in 1999 and believes
about the path of the Day of Judgement. Their early stage was to destroy Shia Islamic
mosques and attack on Iraqi government institutions. Being known and feared, they record
on camera of their ferocity and then makes it available online. For instance, video of
Jordanian pilot who was burned to death. It can be said that Islamic State is hermit
kingdom because few are gone and returned. !

Philippines is one of countries relating to ISIS because they both are muslim state.
Therefore, some of Filipino are involved in this organisation but left of them oppose in this
idea. There is a video grab from The ISIS Study Group website shows the unidentified
ISIS fighter believed to be a Filipino. According to ISIS Study Group, some Filipino had
developed relationship with Abu Sayyaf and their relationship remains strong to this day.
Abu Sayyaf is leader of militant Islamist group based in Philippines and also allies with
ISIS. In addition, Black Flag Movement which is one of ISIS activities is currently very
active in Philippines. They uses the black flag as a backdrop in their photos and videos
every time when they want payments for their kidnap victims. However, government is now
trying to solve this problem and there are many organisations taking part in this problem
especially in military part.!

Furthermore, there are also many movement of ISIS relating to Philippines. ISIS
has killed 8 guard and kidnapped 9 foreigners from Philippines and other countries in
Tripoli, the capital of Libya and Filipinos who are still in Libya trying to get in touch with the
Philippine embassy to return back to Philippines. However, ISIS activities are also
happened in Philippines. There are clashes between the Filipino army and ISIS militants
left at least 14 dead in the fight in Sulu province's mountainous Talipao town. In addition,
They haskidnapped several foreigners,including a Dutch and a Swiss
birdwatchers,holding them hostage in Sulu's dense jungles in Philippines. !
