Re: Career Opportunities with your Organization

This letter and accompanying resume is a request for an opportunity within your organization. I
am an experienced professional, searching for the perfect opportunity with the right company,
which I believe I can find with your organization. I have a solid background in assessments,
intake interviewing, psychotherapy and public relations.

My previous positions have exposed me to different managerial techniques, and made it possible
for me to work with a wide range of clientele. I completed my Honours B.A. at the University of
Windsor, and as a requirement of the Clinical Masters Program, I completed my practicum
experience at a private clinic in Southfield, Michigan. Although my Master’s training was
fundamentally Humanistic, I received additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as
well as Group Facilitation, which both have proven to be an asset in my line of work.

A mature attitude and professional workplace ethic compliment my technical qualifications, and
experience with facilitation and administration. I am knowledgeable, creative, reliable, and
resourceful.

I look forward to a chance to discuss my qualifications with you.

Sincerely

Simone Smith
