10) Fried-brain sndwich
A fried-brain sandwich is generally a sandwich with sliced calves' brains on
sliced bread. Its commonly eaten in St. Louis, Missouri, in the Ohio River
valley and in Evansville, Indiana. Increased incidence mad cow disease
diminishes the remaining appeal of this curious regional dish.

Haggis is a savory pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver and lungs);
minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock and
traditionally encased in the animal's stomach. Haggis is a traditional

Hkarl is a food from Iceland consisting of a Greenland shark or sleeper
shark which has been cured with a particular fermentation process and hung
to dry for four to five months and has a very particular ammonia-rich smell
and fishy taste.

Is the Japanese word for pufferfish and the dish prepared from it. Fugu can
be lethally poisonous due to its tetrodotoxin; therefore, it must be carefully
prepared to remove toxic parts and to avoid contaminating the meat.

Casu marzu is a traditional Sardinian sheep milk cheese, notable for
containing live insect larvae. It is found almost exclusively in Sardinia, Italy.

Sannakji is raw dish, in Korean cuisine. It consists of live nakji (a small
octopus) that has been cut into small pieces and served immediately,
usually lightly seasoned with sesame and sesame oil. The nakji pieces are
usually still squirming on the plate.

in the shell. It is commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines. They are
common food in countries in Southeast Asia, such as Laos, Cambodia and
Vietnam.
