Intransitive: The train arrives at 3:00. Susan lives on the east side. People cheered wildly.
Dynamic: I am having a party. Ive been seeing my boyfriend for 5 years. The chef is
tasting his dish.
Stative: I think that tea is great! He likes pizza. I know the truth.
Finite: I live in Caguas. She walks home. Nancy does her homework.
Nonfinite: He loves camping in the woods. He had his car cleaned. The proposal has been
examined today.
Linking: The lily pond smells bad. Jos is nice. Mrs. Santos is our teacher.
Regular: She played during recess. They learned about verbs. He loved her very much.
Irregular: The bird flew away. The artist sang live. She froze her water bottles.
Modal: She can speak six languages. It must be cold outside. You should stop smoking.
Auxiliary: I am finishing my homework. Sarah was waiting for her date. Danek did his
chores.
