WYBA & Community Ed Youth Baseball

Waseca Youth Baseball Association is partnering with Waseca Community Education to offer Summer
2015 Youth Baseball & T-Ball programs. The programs will focus on fundamentals and instruction on
Mondays and Tuesdays while competing in structured games on Thursdays. Parents are encouraged
to help with practices and/or games to help build a foundation in coaching todays youth. T-Shirt is
included in price. The program will run from June 9-July 23 at the WIS Fields, west of WIS. On July 23 we

Rookie Leagues T-Ball:
Ages 4-5
Mon. & Thur. 5:30-6:15
Tues. 11:30-12:15
In this T-Ball program that is open to both boys & girls, we will teach T-Ball players the basic
fundamentals of the game we all love! In a safe and structured environment, we will focus on throwing,
catching, hitting, and fielding skills; in addition to sportsmanship and learning the general rules.
Minor Leagues Baseball:
Ages 6-8
Mon. & Thur. 6:30-7:30
Tues. 10:15-11:15
Players will learn the basics of baseball - throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding skills. We will build on
the skills that the players learned in T-Ball and give them a learning environment to become successful
players.
Major Leagues Baseball:
Ages 9-10
Mon. & Thur. 6:00-7:00
Tues. 8:45-10:00
In our oldest league, we will help players expand their knowledge and skills of baseball and focus on
preparing the athletes for future years of traveling baseball by refining their skills in throwing, catching,
hitting, and fielding.

Registration opens on February 18. South Country Health Alliance members receive $15 discount, limit
of 5 discounted classes per year. Scholarships are available based on income eligibility, sign up in person
for 50% off if qualified.
