PROVINCIAL OFFICE WHEREAS, under Section 4 of Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act (MMAA) No. 288, the RHRC is the sole regional human rights institution within the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM); WHEREAS, Section 11 par. 14 of MMAA No. 288 authorizes the RHRC to create and establish offices appropriate for the effective fulfilment of its mandate; WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority mentioned above, the BaSulTa Sub- Regional Office, the Lanao del Sur Provincial Office and the Maguindanao Provincial Office were created which shall perform the mandates of the RHRC within their respective areas of responsibility; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to create the RHRC Maguindanao Provincial Office (MPO) and shall exercise jurisdiction within the Province of Maguindanao; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above-named office will be headed by Atty. ABDULNASSER A. BADRUDIN, and he will exercise general supervision over the said office and as such he will be authorized to request cash advance, custodian of the petty cash and the Quick Response Team's Revolving Fund in behalf of RHRC-MPO; RESOLVED FINALLY, subject to his authority mentioned above, Atty. Badruddin is hereby directed to file his fidelity bond in compliance with the Treasury Circular No. 02-2009 dated August 6, 2009.
