The PG Department of Commerce, the first PG department of S.E.S College, aims at building
the total personality of students and transforming young boys and girls into men and women,
having competence, compassion, concern and commitment. Since its inception in 2013, the
department offers M.Com (Finance) programme which provides an opportunity to acquire
advanced knowledge in the main areas of commerce to help them in their career
development. The department arranges periodically guest lectures, and field visits to
strengthen the learning of the subject and to expose the students to the actual work situations.
They are well trained with different skills like logical thinking, effective public speaking,
analytical skills, IT skills and personal growth laboratory to equip them for facing the highly
competitive business world keeping in view the market demand and the changing patterns in
the economy.
