The Battle Against Time
How will my memory live on and on,
Even when I have been taken away?
After my voice has been silenced and gone,
When there are no more new words I can say.

Will you remember the places I went?

All the people I got to meet and heal.
Will you think of the endless time I spent,
Trying to touch someone, to make them feel.

Oh, I know how my name will carry on,

How I will win the battle against Time.
Not through pictures, or writing, but by song.
By the lyrics I have written and have rhymed.

So after Time has taken me along,

My voice will live through my music and songs.
