This source provided us with alot of information regarding the warning of the US

This was one of our primary sources. It was one of the first drafts of the Truman
Doctrine. It emphasized the importance for the US to take action, because otherwise the
Soviets would become too powerful and unstoppable. If the conquered Greece and Turkey,
then they would have control over the Mediterranean

We used this source to get more information on the Truman Doctrine, which was the
doctrine that really allowed the United States to get involved in the Korean Conflict. It
helped us understand more of the United States view on communism expanding even before
the Korean Conflict, and the other conflicts the United States was dealing with similar to the
Korean Conflict.

This is a firsthand account piece published 15 days after the Truman Doctrine speech
and provides insight on how the general public viewed the Truman Doctrine. The general
public understood that it was more than providing aid to Greece and Turkey, but also
fighting the spread of communism. It also provided insight on the possible reactions of the
Soviets.
