PTM General Meeting Minutes

Date and time: February 17, 2015 6:30 PM

Meeting was called to order at 6:35PM
Principal Pleau PYP presentation:

PYP (Primary Years Program) is the IB elementary program. McKinley was

asked to participate and we are currently in the exploratory phase. We will
be applying to be a PYP Candidate school. This phase lasts approximately
three years. The next step would be to become an official PYP school.

Old Business: Approval of January general meeting minutes. 3 in favor, 0 opposed.

New Business:

Former treasurer plead guilty to stealing money from the PTM. She has been
sentenced to 28 months in jail with opportunities to shorten the time. After
the sentence is completed, repayment will begin. Greg will talk to the family
to see if they want to start repayment sooner.
The PTM will edit the by-laws to include additional background checks for PTM
leadership positions. We have found a web site that can just show criminal
information and we will not have to look through or keep other personal
information.
Treasurer report was made available to PTM meeting attendees.
