Play-field
Improvement
Update

We are not only committed to providing a quality education for our scholars but a
clean, safe and well maintained facility as well. That is why we are pleased to announce
that construction has begun on the renovation of our old play field into a new and
improved play field that will afford our students the best possible learning and playing
environment. The renovations will consist of new irrigation for the entire field, a new
decomposed granite running surface, complete soil amending and hydro-seeding the
entire field. This will be a change from the holes, rocks and weeds that our scholars
were playing on before. At the completion of this project, we are planning a ribbon
cutting ceremony and we hope that you can join us in celebrating the new play area.

Project Schedule

3/9/15 to 5/01/15*

Creating the play space however comes with the fact that we will need to use additional
water resources to do so. This is hard because we realize the importance of water
conservation as we move out of the cooler and into the warmer months. Please be
assured that we are watering within the city ordinance requirements of 21 days for
new plant growth and will return to watering within the City mandated requirements at
the end of the 21-day period. Please see the complete City Ordinance detailed below.
