Community Health Assessment Seminar

Learning Objectives:
Through this seminar, students will:
1. Understand the similarities and differences between the four types of community
health assessments (CHA)
2. Be able to describe the five basic steps of a CHA as described by Cavanagh &
Chadwick (2005)
3. Apply CHA and transdisciplinary research to a current public health example;
fluoridation
4. Develop an understanding of the role of CHA in global health research
