Reading/ Language Arts

We are reading Storm in the Night, a story about a
grandfather and grandson who keep each other company
during a thunderstorm when the electricity goes out.
We are reviewing homograph and homophones, regular
and irregular plural nouns, punctuation, possessive nouns
and reading and interpreting information found in tables,
charts and graphs.

Math
We will be working on:
Adding money amounts up to $99,999.99
Writing checks for money amounts up to $99,999.99
Acting out, drawing pictures, and writing number
sentences for division story problems
writing number sentences for division story problems
Multiplying a multiple of 10,100, or 1,000 by a single
digit number
