The following homework is due by FRIDAY, April 17th:

Use the vacation journal to write about your break. Well present!
Practice this weeks spelling words on ScootPad. Have fun!
Finalize and mail in your March of Dimes reading form and donation. If you need a
donation in order to receive the medal, see me. Must be postmarked BY WEDNESDAY,
APRIL 15th! Cant wait for the assembly!
Read the ScootPad e-book of your choice. Make sure its at your good fit DRA level.
Discuss your favorite part with your family!
Do your one ScootPad math practice (more practice, more coins!)

May 12 8:30-3:00 Field trip to Upland Hills Farm

Thank you so much for the time and donations spent to make our Easter centers such a fun
success! We really had a great time and hope you enjoy the break!
Upland Hills Farm: We will be furthering our Science/Social Studies lessons by taking a trip
to the farm!
We will explore Needs of Life, Characteristics of Parent to Young,
Producers/Consumers, Transportation, Economics, etc. Heads up: The trip will cost around
$16 or so and will be on Tuesday, May 12 th, so plan accordingly. Obviously, more information
will come home as we get closer to the trip.
March of dimes: We have wrapped up our month of reading and need to be finalizing our
reading charts soon. They will need to be MAILED IN BY Wednesday, April 15 th in order to
receive the medal. (Let me know if you need donation assistance to mail in to get the
medal.) Please be diligent in this endeavor to prevent your campers embarrassment of not
receiving a medal with the class
