1. (i).Open angiogram and observe the effects of sharpening on (a) its histogram and (b) its
signal-to-noise ratio (remember to choose a region of constant gray value before using the
SNR ).To sharpen use the mask sharpen.txt
(ii) Find Edges in image using Sobel, and canny edge detector.

does histogram equalization have on the appearance of the image? How has the shape of its

4. Open holes.tif and use morphological operations with an appropriate structural element to
eliminate the smaller holes.
