I am interested in the position of Chapter Director because I want to develop an intake

process focused on strengthening the bonds of sisterhood and better preparing new members to
become sisters. I would like to see every assignment have a meaning that is clear to all intakes
and sisters, and my long-term goal is to change the negative connotation of Greek Life. I hope to
achieve this through a strong intake process focused on positive lessons applicable to life
outside of the intake process.
Having served as a Program Educator 3 times in the past 2 years, I understand the
difficulties sisters encounter when holding this position. I have many ideas that I hope to share,
most of which I have learned through my own experiences as PE and through numerous visits
to sisterships across the East Coast. I recognize the importance of the individual traditions of
sisterships and hope to create an environment where traditions can be shared between
chapters.
I am the best candidate for this position based on my experiences as PE and
understanding of local sistership traditions. I understand how different each intake process is,
and hope to preserve the uniqueness of each sistership.
