The living hope is eternal life found in the resurrected Christ!

Hope means confident optimism!

1) comes from God ( Ps. 43:5 ) !

2) is a gift of grace ( 2 Thess. 2:16 )!

3) is defined by Scripture ( Rom. 15:4 )!

4) is a reasonable reality ( 1 Pet. 3:15 )!
!
5) is secured by the resurrection of Jesus Christ ( John 11:2526; 14:19 ; 1 Cor. 15:17 )!

6) is confirmed in the Christian by the Holy Spirit ( Rom. 15:13 )!
!
7) defends the Christian against Satans attacks ( 1 Thess. 5:8 )!
!
8) is confirmed through trials ( Rom. 5:34 )!
!
9) produces joy ( Ps. 146:5 )!
!
10) is fulfilled in Christs return ( Titus 2:13 )!

Living Hope !
1 Peter 1:3

(Psa 43:5 KJV) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within
me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and
my God.!

(2 Th 2:16 KJV) Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which
hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,!

(Rom 15:4 KJV) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our
learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.!

(1 Pet 3:15 KJV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give
an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with
meekness and fear:!

(John 11:25 KJV) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that
believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:!

(John 11:26 KJV) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest
thou this?!

(John 14:19 KJV) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me:
